"I'm Samuel Tisnado Ambur, born in the Arequipa province of Peru on 29 October, 1977. My parents have dedicated their lives to the textile arts, specializing in rugs. I studied administration and marketing design, where I honed my artistic formation.
"I think the art world is very interesting. It is not merely a job, but an art that identifies us as artisans. We train weavers at our workshop, especially in quality, which we define as doing things properly.
"I'm constantly searching for new things to innovate so we can offer customers the best. Our artistic work is characterized by efficiency and quality. When one's immersed in the world of art, it really changes one's view on this type of work, which is wonderful and filled with myriad possibilities of expression.
"There are many things I've enjoyed doing throughout my life, like building when I was a child, and now designing. Combining colors creates a world of fantasy that becomes a reality thanks to wool threads.
"I regard this type of work as one of those few opportunities in life that offer the motivation for self-improvement. Ours is a unique product made of soft, natural fibers. To me, this is more than a job – it is my life and passion. This path has led us towards many exhibitions and fairs."
